| heyyyyyyy. so tryin this whole "blog" thing again after a good year, good riddance. it's uber windy outside... will probably lose power. awesome! i've decided to buy some buttons. and i'm reorganizing my journals. also, my hair looked really good today, as dumb as that sounds, i just looked in the mirror and was like, weird. i don't get it. it was just one of those awkward moments you know? then i moved on with my life and went chrismas shopping with my friend peter and his cousin. decided that i love the salem mall because of sooo many people, but i hate the mall because of the mass-produced, copied, unoriginal crap that is being sold now because skateboarding and the hip-hop scene is apparently so "cool." on a side note, i'm just scared for all the young girls out there, ages ten and so, who are looking up to this culture that degrades women and wanting to take part in it all. gahh. and WTF nike!?? so you think you can creep into the hip hop scene too and make skateboarding shoes??? i don't know a lot about the stuff, but i'm not pretending to either. so it's raining outside, and the lights just flickered again, and my cat looks like a little bear cub with rabbit feat. i'm out. | | |

except for what sucked. and that is that rufus wainwright took FOREVER, and we had to leave at 10:55 from the concert because the parking garage was going to close. so, basically i missed (from what i have heard) a good 6 of ben's songs, and two of them being my all time favorites! damn it. i am so pissed. but seriously. i didn't realize the whole thing was going to go longer than three hours! and damn rufus not only took forever, but he was TERRIBLE live. his set was the longest of my entire life and i couldn't understand a single word he sang--he slurred it ALL. ah damn. well, i've got to get past it and just enjoy the time i was there. i'll see ben again in a couple years when he probably goes on tour again. i'm just sad that's all. i waited all summer to see ben folds in concert, and then me and linda have to leave early from the concert because of stupid portland parking. shit. well, at least we'll know better for next time. but ben was great. i mean freaking amazing. one of my most favorite memories. | | |
| wowie. first blog in a long, long time. this should be a holiday. i get to take photos of the football team's practice tomorrow for the barometer. i hope all goes well. annnnnnnnnnd i think i'm dehydrated. and i kicked butt last night at pinochle. and i went creek walking today, and campus security drove by,stopped, backed up, and looked down the creek at where i was. i stood really still. they kind of freaked me out. good grief. it's not like i was tresspassing or anything. i think that they just are suspicious of everything and everyone. seriously. my tailbone is getting better, but still hurts. (i fell 3.5 weeks ago too). | | |
